4-H Ochs Garden
A new gardening year has begun, and this year is unique: we are focusing on entrepreneurship, gardening, butterflies and composting! You can enroll for 4-H clubs at fl.4honline.com. You can join as many 4-H clubs as you want this year for $25 per child, but there is also a $10 activity fee for your garden plot. The club provides the seeds, water, mulch, gardening tools, and instruction. The gardens will be open Mondays from 4:15-6:00 this year, with meetings (adjusted after Irma) at 4:30 as follows:
1st Mondays: entrepreneurship & business meeting
2nd Mondays: gardening
3rd Mondays: composting
4th Mondays: butterflies
Oct 30: planting day for all 4 groups
Please note that this year we will meet on Monday afternoons, and so will the 4-H archery club, so there will be limits on where you can walk.
Congratulations to the newly elected officers for 2017-18!
