Ochs Vegetable Garden Promise

I Promise to...

 * Complete my gardening chores by 5:00 p.m., or 11:00 on Saturday.

 * Always wear closed-toe shoes.

 * Maintain my own garden by weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting.

 * Work in my project book, in order to keep a record of what I learn.

 * Never take anything from someone else's garden plot without the owner's O.K.

 * Always try to conserve water by using the rain barrels and watering cans.

 * Clean each tool and return it after use.

 * Pay attention to the classes offered.

 * Conduct myself in a proper way, being safe and respectful.

 * Never waste anything grown on the property.

 * Ask permission before taking tools, fertilizer, seed, or exploring the citrus grove.

 * Remember I am here to garden, learn, and have fun, not just to play.
